MM Mechanical Plumbing & Heating Services is one of Northern Ireland's market leading plumbing & heating contractors.

An experienced plumber, from 1985 Michael Murray served his time as an apprentice under P&H Services (Mr Robert Bell). He established MM Mechanical in 1996 and employed his first apprentice.

MM Mechanical initially concentrated on domestic projects but during the last 10 years the company has expanded into the industrial and commercial markets, consulting on major construction projects within both the public and private sectors. Now ably assisted by Contracts Manager, Stephen Erdis and with additional support services from John Mairs of JEM Building Services Management the company has gone from strength to strength.

Michael is assisted by Contracts Manager, Stephen Erdis who joined MM Mechanical in 2004. Stephen attended Dundonald Training Centre in 1976 undertaking a 1 year course in Plumbing & Heating. Then between 1976 - 1980 he completed further training at Castlereagh College of Further Education where he obtained City & Guilds certifcation in plumbing.

During this time he served his apprenticeship with multi international company Haden Young staying with them undertaking numerous projects for 10 years from 1978 - 1988. He worked in the construction of Belfast City Hospital and this allowed Stephen to become involved in the projects complex plumbing and heating systems. He has also worked in many other industrial, domesticand commercial premises.

Since joining MM Mechanical, Stephen has brought with him his vast experience of fact finding, installation of central heating systems & underfloor heating system installation and solar panel heating etc. He is responsible for site safety, training needs assessment and ensures all work is completed to the highest standard, standards have helped take MM Mechanical forward in the plumbing marketplace.

MM Mechanical operate from newly constructed offices in Coleraine, equipped with an on site fully stocked works store, modern workshop and trade counter the infrastructure is in place to undertake all jobs and more than fulfil all customer requirements. Additional on site support is provided by a fleet of branded company vehicles.

Rapid expansion has necessitated extensive investment in our most valuable resource, our workforce. We currently employ 12 skilled tradesmen who are all trained and qualified in their respective areas. Looking to the future we are introducing our own apprenticeship scheme to tap today's new talent. We are constantly adapting our work methodologies to maintain our position in the market.

Health and Safety is taken very seriously within MM Mechanical and all employees undertake mandatory training courses. A full list of acreditations is available upon and several can be viewed on our website here.
